Shipping & Return

The following information is designed to help you understand our Shipping and Return Policies. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, add or remove portions of this policy at any time by posting such changes to this page. Such changes will be effective upon posting. Cintamani requests that you read the Shipping and Return Policies carefully and consult them regularly. Delivery times and rates are subject to change, based on the holiday and peak periods as well as the prevailing rates of the carriers used. By purchasing items, you agree to be bound by these provisions, along with the other Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Shipping and Return policies which are hereby incorporated by reference. Your use of this site after such changes are implemented constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of such changes. You affirm that you have read these policies and understand, agree and consent to its provision.

Shipping Policy:

1. Carriers Used: DHL and Post Offices. It is the sole discretion of Cintamani when an item is being shipped to use the carrier of their choice. All items will be traceable.
2. Orders are shipped as soon as we receive them. DHL delivers within the next day or 2 days. The Post Office is around 7 business days. If we can’t ship within that period or there will be a delay, we will notify by email or by phone to let you know of the status.
3. Most parcels reach their destination promptly and without incidents. Please understand that Cintamani has no control over delivery day or delivery time, once the parcel is turned over to the carrier.
4. The estimated delivery days indicate above in heading 1 (Carriers Used) are based on business days. A business day is Monday-Friday, excluding holidays, unless otherwise indicated by the carrier.
5. Additionally this site disclaims any and all liability for the carrier failing to adhere to delivery days and times.

Where we deliver:

We deliver all over the world! Please note that delivery times and rates depend on the governing laws of the country the parcel is being sent to. All customs and/or tolls & duties will be paid by the recipient. Cintamani takes no liability for delays due to customs checks and or but not limited to inspections the parcel might go through in the country it is being sent to.

Confirming Prices

Items in your Shopping Cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on the item's product detail page. Please note that this price may differ from the price shown for the item when you first placed it in your cart. Placing an item in your cart does not reserve the price shown at that time. It is also possible that an item's price may decrease between the time you place it in your cart and the time you purchase it.

We cannot confirm the price of an item until you order; however, we do NOT charge your credit card until after your order has entered the shipping process. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mispriced. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

Shipping Cost:

All parcels ordered and shipped through Cintamani will incur a shipping fee that will include shipping and handling that is calculated according the shipping destination. Current rates for 1-3 items are:

Within Iceland:     ISK:  890 ISK
Post Office Europe & USA: 3400 ISK
DHL Europe & USA: 5200 ISK

Note: Customs charges are not included in the prices that Cintamani charges.

Return Policy

Cintamani wants you to be satisfied with you purchases. If you wish to return an item, it must be shipped within 10 days after the purchase date. You must include a copy of your receipt which accompanied your order. Returns must be received in their original unused condition or they will not be accepted. We do pay you full product amount if there is a fault but otherwise you can change sizes, styles and even colors.
